Quality Assurance

The importance of Quality Assurance is based on the principals of getting things right first time. By implementing, maintaining, reviewing and continually improving a Quality Assurance System a company can achieve and reap the benefits of having such a system in place. A Quality System is designed to provide an assurance to Clients, which can be supported through documented records, that all contracts will be completed in accordance with the agreed time, cost and specification. It should also further ensure that the company personal, sub-contractors and key suppliers are aware of customer requirements and that they are fully met. Conformance with requirements of the detailed procedures developed in accordance with the Quality Manual has to be mandatory for all staff employed in the company. It is essential to the system that encouragement is given to each employee to develop and maintain an attitude of continuing quality improvement and customer satisfaction. Quality Assurance is concerned with developing and planning the necessary technical and managerial competence to achieve desired results. It is also about attitudes, both of management and of all those for whom they are responsible. It is important both to you and us that we deliver consistent and uniform quality. We have thus built up a comprehensive organization and a number of supporting systems. Quality management is in focus both in production and senior management. All our managers are trained internally on our project management course to ensure a uniform procedure and a high quality level. The first step for assurance of quality in the construction business is to define the requirements of the customer. Based on the exact requirements, the structural designs of the construction or structures are developed. During the design phase, all the material that would be used in the construction is also decided. The quality standards of the structure are defined to decide the subsequent stages of the construction quality assurance process. Various soil and site tests are conducted to check the climatic conditions and terrain of the site. During construction it is necessary to conform to various environment protection laws. Considering them at this stage would help in proper planning of the design and deciding the materials that would be used. It should be ensured that the construction activity causes minimal sound pollution, no pollution to the nearby water bodies and zero inconvenience to people living nearby.

INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The tools for quality management are part of our internal Integrated Management System, which is available to all staff. This helps us ensure a uniform and good hand-over of the project.

PROJECT PLANS
For all projects we prepare a project plan which ensures consistency and attention to identifying the most significant risks in the project. The project plan involves setting up a management organization, which continuously monitors construction quality. This applies both to subcontractors and in-house production.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF ALL PROJECTS
The management organization is supervised by our department, so the project follows the requirements we have for our own staff, our subcontractors and suppliers. We carry out the same level of quality management on all projects, regardless of the client.
