The health of our people is central to our business success. We need to understand the potential for health risks and establish suitable mitigation measures to reduce the incidence of organizational and societal health problems. The Health, Safety, and Risk Department’s main objective is to promote a pro-active approach to health and safety, and encourage all personnel to participate actively in the development of its occupational health and safety programs. The department is responsible for preventing injury, ill health, damage, and property loss arising from activities within Industrial City’s Common Areas and is comprised of the following divisions. The majority of operations have installed extensive societal health programs, including random substance abuse tests and voluntary blood tests. The Group’s risk-based blood policy promotes voluntary testing, non-discrimination and awareness about preventing the spread of the disease and mitigating its effects. On health, We have developed a full health surveillance program together with an occupational health risk monitoring program which will be implemented during the life cycle of this plan. These programs are designed to monitor and assess the health effects of the industrial environment on homogeneous group of employees and to develop risk reduction measures to further minimize the effects of our employees. We are seeking to create a mindset and an environment where people believe it is possible to work injury free, regardless of where they are in the world, what role they undertake, or in which operation they work. Although significant progress has been made in understanding health and safety risks associated with our environment and implementing mitigating measures, our performance is still far from our aspiration.
